LIPA BRANCH

Shrouded in mystery is the controversial apparition of the Virgin Mary before Sister Teresita Castillo, a contemplative postulant from a local Carmelite monastery, simultaneous with the shower of rose petals containing the silhouette of Mother Mary. The miraculous event happened in mid-1948 and witnessed by throngs of devotees in the city of Lipa, Batangas.  The Virgin Mary was subsequently referred to as “Mary, Madiatrix of All Grace.”  The phenomenon still provides a sense of wonderment to all people; it catapulted Lipa City into the limelight of newsmakers in the country and abroad.

67 years later, in 2015, CareHealth Plus appeared in the horizon with the establishment of its pioneer branch office, CareHealth Plus-Lipa

Although not as momentous as the “apparition of Lipa,” the opening of CareHealth Plus-Lipa effectively grabbed the limelight of the healthcare industry in the place as the branch etched its name among the roster of top-performing branches of CareHealth Plus.  And the branch’s optimism continues to grow until the present.

  • In the previous years, Lipa City had the Coffee Festival as its official city festival being a coffee granary of the Philippines. The Coffee Festival was then celebrated from December 11 to 16.

 

  • Lipa also had the Walistik Festival celebrated on the second week of January where walis (broom) was used in costumes and props. Walis symbolizes unity and this was what the Lipeños had in mind everytime they celebrate Walistik Festival.

 

  • Lipa is served by a network of national highways and an expressway. The Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR Tollway) connects the city with Batangas City, Tanauanand Santo Tomas. A connection to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) links Lipa with Calamba and Metro Manila.
