CAMILING BRANCH

Camiling in the province of Tarlac is one of the pioneering branches of CareHealth Plus Systems International, Inc. The branch initiated its operations with the soft launching of CareHealth Plus products in 2015.

CareHealth Plus-Camiling remains as one of the more outstanding branches nationwide, under the able leadership of its present Assistant Branch Manager, Sunshine Ancheta. The branch holds office at Room 201, 2nd Floor, FRS Building along C. Luna St., Poblacion with telephone number (045) 628 3223.

An increasingly growing number of 7 Sales Agency Managers (SAM), 27 Sales Group Managers (SGM) and 170 Sales Counselors (SC) complement the branch sales team. The entire group and the branch are directly supervised by Ma. Lita “Let-Let” Bacolor, Senior Branch Manager, under the aegis of Robert Tubera, Senior Assistant Vice President. CareHealth Plus-Camiling has proven its collective strength and undisputed consistency in delivering a sizeable sales average of P1.4 million TCP for the period February-November 2017.

In turn, the branch is supported by recognized local hospitals, scil. Salvador General Hospital (Camiling), Señor Sto. Niño Hospital Inc. (Camiling), Señor Sto Niño Hospital Satellite (Sta. Ignacia), Nuestro Señor Sto Niño Hospital (Bayambang, Pangasinan). Diagnostic clinics and laboratories provide diverse medical services: St. Blaise Specialist Clinic, Gapultos Specialist Clinic, St. Therese Eye Clinic, Dr. Zen Healthcare, Inc.

A brief glimpse into history, Camiling became popular as the original hometown of Leonor Rivera, Jose Rizal’s fiancée, (childhood sweetheart, and “lover by correspondence”) immortalized by our national hero as “Maria Clara” in his novel Noli Me Tangere.

Similarly, Camiling prides itself as home to great men of valor and prominence: Carlos P. Romulo, first Asian President of the United Nations General Assembly; Onofre D. Corpuz, former Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, & UP President; Cesar A. Bengson, former Supreme Court Justice and Justice of the UN International Court; Alberto Romulo, former Senator of the Philippines, among others.

Being one of the oldest municipalities created by the Spanish government, Camiling is oftentimes known as the “Old Lady in the Northwestern province of Tarlac”. Camiling is famous for its “Chicharon” (of Ilocos Sur origin) and its green native rice cake called “Nilubyan” (Iniruban or Dirimin) of Pangasinan origin.

Other native rice cakes such as Tupig, Pinais, & Patupat are major delicacies produced by the local townsfolk. In festive celebration of the town’s bounty, Camiling hosts its local Iniruban and Chicharon Festival. The festival was established in 2000 and is held every last week of October, characterized by colorful and artistic presentations and street dances showcasing Camiling’s products and rich cultural heritage.
